German In Africa

Germany had protectorates in Africa under the First League of Nations, which had its headquarters in Bern, Switzerland. The capital city of Switzerland is Bern and it is in the German speaking part of Switzerland. The German protectorates in Africa were Cameroon, Burundi and Rwanda. Germany had a presence in Benin and Togo. German is one of the languages of Namibia and Afrikaans is a Dutch language from the German group.
