El Mar is the Sea in Spanish
It looks like there is a consensus on the month of March because of the prefix which you also find in Marzo, Mars, Maerz, respectively in Spanish, English and German. El Mar in Spanish means the sea. There is sea salt and there are many seas for example the Mediterranean Sea, The Northern Sea and the Caribbean Sea.
