Portuguese is a language from Portugal and Spanish is from Spain. It is a language spoken on all continents from Brazil to Timor Este through Macau and Guinean Equatorial. Portugal and Spain are part of the Iberian peninsula. Portuguee and Spanish are Latin languages. There are many exchanges between Portuguese and Spanish communities. Portuguese and Spanish meet in central Africa for example in Guinea Equatorial where they are both spoken.
