French and German Are Two Language Pairs

German is a language from Germany and is spoken in Alsace and Lorraine in France. These last two regions belonged to Germany in the past. There is a French expression "vous n'aurez pas l'Alsace et la Lorraine" that means you will not get Alsace and Lorraine. Alsace and Lorraine is in the eastern part of France not far from Germany and Poland.
