French and Italian are two important southern languages. French is from France and Italian from Italy. French and Italian are Latin languages. French is spoken in most of the countries in Africa for example, in Algeria, Djibouti and Cameroon. Italian is spoken also in Northern Africa and the horn of Africa for example in Egypt, Eritrea and Somalia. There is an important French community in North America. There are many Italian communities in North America and Southern America.
