Croatian and Italian Languages from the Adriatic Region

Croatian and Italian languages are two important languages in the region of the Adriatic sea. Croatia used to be part of former Yougoslavia. The major city of Croatia is Zagreb. There was an important United Nations deployment in Croatia. Therefore, Croatian should be one of the languages to consider in the Balkan region. The word pristine beaches for example comes from there. Italian used to be one of the languages of Croatia in the Dolomite region and probably of former Yougoslavia.
